Here's your chance to play against some of the best competition in the northwest suburbs. The Crystal Lake Park District Travelers Basketball program is the official feeder basketball program for Crystal Lake South, Crystal Lake Central and Prairie Ridge High Schools. The Crystal Lake Park District Travelers play in the Greater Suburban Basketball Association, a collection of over 75 high school feeder basketball programs. Participants must have a parent with them or a signed release form in order to try out. There is no fee to try out for the traveling program.

Those selected for the nine, 12-member teams travel teams will play a 15+ game season split between home and away. Players must reside in the high school boundaries of the team they try out for.

Players who make the team must pay the program fee by Monday, December 5, 2011. Cost is $300 per player.  Practices will start December 6. The fee includes school specific jersey, shorts and 15+ game season that includes two tournaments.
•No limits for try-outs.
•No fees for try-outs.

•Try-out registration opens at 6:30 PM.

Boys who will attend Central High School try-out at Bernotas Middle School.
