  • Hunting and Fishing Licenses : To meet all your sporting needs, the Crystal Lake Park District carries a variety of licenses. Illinois and Wisconsin licenses run on April 1-March 31 calendar season. Licenses are available for purchase at our office, during business hours. Identification, such as a previous year's sports license or driver's license and a Social Security number is required for your initial electronic purchase. Exception for Illinois licenses: Residents and no-residents under 16 are not required to buy a fishing license, migratory waterfowl stamp or federal duck stamp. To purchase a hunting license, students under age 16 are required to pass a Hunter Safety Certification course. Please note: Cash/Check only accepted for purchase of Wisconsin Licenses.

    Complete soil preparation and garden plot deadlines are available at the time of plot reservation
    Resident Garden Plot Fee $35 per plot/$20 senior citizen (age 60+)
    Non-Resident Plot Fee $50 per plot/$35 senior citizen (age 60+)
    January 4-February 29 Plots available to last year's plot holders
    March 7 Plots available, first come, first served basis to residents
    April 2 Remaining plots available to non-residents
    Growing Season from when the soil is first cultivated until October 31
