Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office Location & Hours of Operation

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, August-March

plus Saturdays, 9:30 AM-Noon, April-July.

Services available at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office:

  • Program Registration
  • Illinois Sports Licenses : Illinois licenses run on an April 1 to March 31 calendar season. Licenses are available for purchase at our Administration office during business hours. Identification such as a previous year's sports license or driver's license is required. For your initial electronic purchase, a Social Security number is required.
  • Illinois Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Licenses, Stramps and Permits: Under 16 years old: residents and non-residents under 16 are not required to buy a fishing license, migratory waterfowl stamp or fderal duck stamp. To purchae a hunting license, students are required to pass a Hunter Safety Certification course.
  • Illinois Water Usage Stamps: Non-motorized watercraft, canoe, kayak, paddle boat, or sail board in Illinois are no longer required to be titled/registered in Illinois unless the vessel has a motor or sail. You are no required to purchase a 'Water Usage Stamp' for $6 per calendar year for each of the first three vessels, and $3 each for any additional vessels. Please note: An agent fee of $.50 will be charged per vessel. The stamps are good for one year and expire on December 31. Your stamp can be adhered anywhere on the interior or exterior of the vessel as long as it is visible. Water usage stamps are available for purchase at the Admin. Office during business hours.
  • 2017 Hill Farm Garden Plots-Rent a 20' X 40' garden plot at Hill Farm Acres

    Register in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Admin. Office

    Complete soil preparation and garden plot deadlines are available at the time of plot reservation
    Resident Garden Plot Fee $35 per plot/$20 senior citizen (age 60+)
    Non-Resident Plot Fee $50 per plot/$35 senior citizen (age 60+)
    January 4-February 29 Plots available to last year's plot holders
    March 7 Plots available, first come, first served basis to residents
    April 2 Remaining plots available to non-residents
    Growing Season from when the soil is first cultivated until October 31
