Hound Town Dog Park
The 2017 Hound Town key is now available. Hound Town is a three-acre park where dogs can socialize and run off leash. An annual permit allows you to enjoy the area specially designed for your furry friend. It is entirely fenced in and is open year-round, dawn to dusk.
Friends of Hound Town Dog Park Facebook Group
Crystal Lake Park District Hound Town Dog Park key card holders are welcome to join the Facebook group, Friends of Hound Town. Join the group to plan visits to Hound Town with your friends, share photos, videos or just talk about your dogs. Search 'Friends of Hound Town' in your Facebook search box. Anyone is welcome to join!
Hound Town Keys
The key to the gate is valid from January 2017- December 2017.
How to Buy a Hound Town Permit and Key Card
Register in person only. Forms can be downloaded (PDF ) via the links below, but registration is only accepted in person in the Administrative Office (One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake ) to turn in forms (see links below), submit proof of vaccinations and receive Hound Town Key Card
You Will Need to Bring:
- Proof of residency
- Proof of Rabies vaccination from your vet or vet receipt.
$45 fee for non-resident dog/$10 for each additional dog
Non-resident Senior (age 60+) Rate is $30/$5 each additional dog
Resident Discount Fee:
$30 fee for first resident dog/$6 for each additional dog*
Resident Senior (age 60+) Rate is $30/$3 each additional dog
Hound Town Keys are half price after Labor Day.
