Community Programs
The Nature Center together with local organizations and groups provides a variety of programs throughout the year. Some are scheduled and some can be tailored to your needs. All of these programs allow our participants a chance to enjoy themselves while at the same time learn about nature and the outdoors.

Fieldtrips
School districts, preschools, home school, clubs and more have all benefited from our fieldtrip programs. A typical program will last from 1-2 hours and will feature a hike and 2-3 educational stations covering most any nature/outdoor topic. A craft is also an option for younger groups.

Fees: $6 per child (resident/non-resident) with a $60 minimum.

The Traveling Naturalist

Are you looking for something different for your club or organizations next meeting?  If so, you should schedule one of our Traveling Naturalist Programs.  Live animals, hands-on activities and knowledgeable instructors combine to make these 1 to 1 ½ hour programs a hit regardless of the setting.  We have a variety of topics available, and are also able to tailor a program to meet your needs.  Fees:  $70
