Over the years we have worked with thousands of Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts to help them connect with nature. From leading them through the requirements for a badge to providing a location for service projects, this relationship has proven beneficial for all involved.
We have a variety of projects to enhance your skills as a leader and make a difference within your community. Here are just a few: Trailhead kiosk construction and installation, trail marking and enhancement, exhibit development, natural area restoration and landscaping. Call John Fiorina (815)455-1763, or email jfiorina@crystallakeparks.org for more information.
The Nature Center offers over 80 programs for Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. These programs have been designed to provide your scouts with all of the requirements for the particular badge chosen. The programs take from 1 to 1.5 hours and can be scheduled for any time, including evenings and weekends.
Fees are as follows:
Girl Scout Programs: $8.00 per scout (includes badge)
Cub Scout Programs: $6.00 per scout (badge not included)
