Junior Development Program

JDP isfor young players who are recognized by the Club's teaching pros as having the skill, potential and mental determination to compete at a higher level than the general lesson program. This higher level would include high school tennis and USTA-sanctioned tournaments. Players must be recommended by a Racket Club Pro and be willing to spend a minimum of two nights a week after school for 1.5 hours each day during the school year and two to four days a week during the summer drilling with their peers in one of five different JDP levels. Level Five is for the young elementary school players; Level One is for the Club's top junior players. Each participant is encouraged to enter and compete in USTA-sanctioned tournaments and take as many lessons outside of the JDP drills as they can to improve their skill level. For more information, contact Conni Stinek, Tennis Director.
