The Crystal Lake Park District is thrilled to announce that it is the recipient of an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) development grant for $329,000 to complete the Della Park (5 Della St, Crystal Lake) renovation project.
The grant will fund renovating the park playground while adding additional features of an accessible walking path looping through an area of habitat restoration with interpretive signage, a park picnic shelter and baggo game, stone council ring seating area, challenge fitness area, and new play equipment. This grant is going to transform Della Park!
Della Park is a neighborhood park and is about a half-acres in size. The current playground is about 15 years old.
