The holidays are right around the corner, and our holiday themed teas typically sell out! With only 6 spots left, this year’s German Holiday Tea is no exception!

Together let’s celebrate German customs that influenced the many holiday traditions still cherished today. As you and your family embrace the ambiance of what it is like to have tea inside a gingerbread house, enjoy featured tea varieties, a German inspired cuisine, unique exhibits peppered throughout the house and live storytelling entertainment. Together let’s ring in the holiday season at The Crystal Lake Park District’s National Historic Landmark, The Colonel Palmer “Gingerbread” House!

The Colonel Palmer House was built c.1858 by settlers Gustavus and Henrietta Palmer. Located on its original site, the home was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Currently the home is maintained by the Crystal Lake Park District and is home to the Crystal Lake Historical Society.
