4th-6th Grade Boys Basketball League -Season Start Delayed Until Week of Jan 17

D47, 4th-6 grade boys! We have delayed the start of the Crystal Lake Park District Boys Basketball League until the week of January 17. We want to give each elementary school the best chance of putting a team on the court and several schools have struggling registration numbers. Everybody plays in this basketball program! Participants will develop basic individual basketball skills and team concepts all while having fun in a no pressure environment!  Teams will practice from 3:30-5 pm at their respective schools two days a week and play games on Sundays at Crystal Lake Central High School.

Practices begin the week on January 17 and games are scheduled to begin Sun, Jan 23. Each team will play a seven game season with weekday games possible. Team jerseys are included in the fee. The program does not meet on days D47 is closed or has early release days.

6th grade players may select to play at the grade school of their choice.  Teams are being formed at Canterbury, Coventry, Husmann, North, South, West, Indian Prairie, Woods Creek and Glacier Ridge Schools.  Call Ian Booker at (815) 459-0680, ext. 1210 or email ibooker@crystallakeparks.org for more information.
